Post Hurricane Post

I hope your loved ones are safe and you don't have property damage and you do have power and that your stamps and papers are okay too - oh...and phone service and internet and cable would be ideal!  We have lots of trees down and many without power.  Fortunately, I have power but no cable, phones or internet...so...I am sitting in my mom's driveway to tie into her wireless service to post. LOL!

It's Been A Hard Day's Night

I hope you're all okay after this crazy hurricane!  We've been lucky so far in our house here but our Beach House, unfortunately, has not fared as well.  The street in front of the house is a river, no power, and the back of the house that is directly on the beach has sustained a lot of damage.   
There was a porch fence that went all the way around the deck with supports and a chain link fence that was anchored in the concrete separating the two houses.  They were ripped right out and dragged out to sea! Can't get out there to see what the inside looks like!  Sheesh!  We're so lucky the storm was downgraded!  Everyone is okay, though and THAT's what really matters!  Hope you're all okay!

We all want a piece of Cake!

Cookies are really my thing but we ALL always want a piece of cake!  Especially if it has no calories!

I think I cased this card from one I saw on someone's blog - but since I surf around so much, I have no idea!!  So, if it was yours, let me know so I can give you credit - and a little traffic! ;-)

This design lends itself to any occasion and you can pre-stamp lots of them without a sentiment (in this case, the cake) and then just stamp and punch when you need it!  As always, I "blinged" it up a little with my favorito Rhinestones!

As part of our Quarterly Team Meetings, we always collect Cards for Our Troops.  Our Demonstrators create hand stamped cards for our Service Men and Women to use when they write home to their loved ones.  We then send them to www.OperationWriteHome.org where they distribute them.

I LOVE receiving mail, especially when it's a hand stamped card!  I received this beautiful card as a Thank You from one of my downline, Yvette Sanchez.  She is an awesome stamper and always has clean, simple, demonstratable cards. This photo is the original card she sent:
